The EPA is preparing to issue its first-ever rule on mercury regulation by March 15, 2005. We will examine the proposed regulation, what it will mean to this region, the effects of the two options addressed in the pending rule, methods of compliance, how this regulation will fit with other pollution control measures and, generally, the expectations and challenges ahead.
